In October 2015 the St Peters and the Moors Big Local applied to be part of Cheltenham Borough Council's Cheltenham Remembers project. Cheltenham Remembers focuses on what happened to Cheltenham and it's residents during the Great War.

Part of our project was an exhibition commemorating the heroes our community lost between 1914 and 1918. The exhibition ran from the 28th of August 2018 - 2nd September 2018, and was well received and several visitors asked if there would be a more permanent remembrance, so from the work collated for the exhibition comes this website.

Neither the exhibition or the Website would have been possible without help, and so I would like to thank Neela Mann, Sarah Bowden and the University of Gloucestershire's Hardwick Gallery, Rebecca Sillence and the Local and Family History Library, Local Historian David Drinkwater and the authors of 'Leaving All That Was Dear' Joseph Devereaux and Graham Sacker.
